For eight consecutive years, the community of Gasconade, Missouri, came together to host a Bow Fishing Tournament with a purpose far beyond sport. Entirely funded and supported by local residents and businesses, this event was created to benefit individuals and organizations in the surrounding area who were facing serious challenges.

Recipients of the tournament’s proceeds have included the Hermann School Backpack Program, children battling cancer, a child diagnosed with Hydrops Fetalis, and a military service member dealing with a critical medical issue. Each year, the community rallied to identify a neighbor in need and provide meaningful financial assistance through this grassroots effort.
