At DJ’s Auto Repair Service, our vision is to be the most trusted and professional auto repair shop in the area, delivering top-tier service with the personal touch of a small-town neighbor. Rooted in family values and hometown pride, we aim to combine expert workmanship with honest, friendly care, just like we give to our own family. Also, a shop built by a “local” that grew up here, we’re committed to treating every customer like family, while setting the standard for excellence in everything we do.

Meet DJ Keilholz — Founder & Lead Technician

DJ Keilholz discovered his love for cars as a junior in high school. That passion grew during a senior-year work-study with Jerry Baker at Jerry’s Repair in Chamois, MO — an experience that set the foundation for his future.

After graduating from high school, DJ earned a degree in Automotive Technology from Linn State Technical College, finishing in May 2000. While still in college, he began working at Mike Kehoe Lincoln, Jeep & Mercury (now Joe Machens) before continuing his career at S & S Auto in Apache Flats.

Building DJ’s Repair Service

In 2005, DJ launched DJ’s Repair Service, LLC as a part-time venture, offering quality repairs. In 2010 opening full-time he offered Missouri State Inspections to the Chamois area. His services included oil changes,  A/C work,  brake repair,  alignments, and general automotive maintenance.

Thanks to a growing customer base — including drivers from Fulton, Holts Summit, Jefferson City, Hermann, Morrison, and beyond — DJ expanded the business. On September 6, 2016, DJ’s Repair Service relocated to Linn, Missouri, where it continues to thrive as a full-time operation.

More Than a Repair Shop — A Family Business

DJ is proud to lead a team built on integrity, expertise, and respect. Every customer who walks through the door is treated like family, and many have become just that over the years.

DJ’s wife, Dawna, works full-time with the State of Missouri. Their daughters, Abigail (Abby) and Brieanna (Brie), and son, Lincoln, love spending time in the shop during summer break, learning the trade and lending a hand.
